Lucid Motors Earns "Saudi Made" Label

Lucid Motors, a leading manufacturer of electric vehicles, has officially joined the "Saudi Made" program, becoming the first automotive company to earn the prestigious "Saudi Made" label.

This label is a symbol of quality, excellence, and customer trust, reflecting the Kingdom"s commitment to establishing itself as a hub for innovative manufacturing.

Lucid"s inclusion in the program highlights its ability to produce world-class electric vehicles with Saudi expertise, showcasing its contribution to the development of the automotive industry in the Kingdom.

Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, emphasized that this milestone aligns with the Kingdom"s strategic transformation to build an integrated ecosystem for electric vehicle manufacturing. 

It also supports the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy, which focuses on empowering emerging sectors and attracting high-value investments in advanced industries.

Faisal Sultan, Vice President and Managing Director for the Middle East at Lucid, expressed his excitement about the achievement, affirming the company’s commitment to embodying the national identity values represented by the "Saudi Made" label, such as quality and excellence.

The presence of major companies like Lucid in the Saudi market strengthens the Kingdom"s position as a global hub for future industries. 

This contributes to increasing local content, boosting non-oil exports, and fostering industrial localization.
